1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LocalList ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LocalList is a travel curation platform that provides quality-verified recommendations for local places. We curate restaurants, cafes, nightlife, cultural venues, and more using a proprietary quality scoring system. Only places that meet our quality threshold are published.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account or joining the waitlist.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute our curated data or quality scores.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns.

5. Intellectual Property

The LocalList quality scoring algorithm, curated data, brand assets, and all content produced by LocalList are the intellectual property of LocalList and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

6. Recommendations Disclaimer

LocalList provides curated recommendations based on our quality scoring methodology. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that every experience will meet your expectations. Recommendations are informational and do not constitute professional advice. Visit places at your own discretion.

7. Location Services

Certain features (such as Follow Mode) require access to your device's location. Location data is used solely to provide navigation and is not stored beyond the active session. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

LocalList is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalList shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, particularly if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your personal data from our systems.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
